About North Manchester, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

North Manchester is small Indiana community with a great deal of trademark Midwestern heart and community spirit. Safety, fun, and fellowship are the most important things to the residents of this suburban escape. Local history is very important to the community and its residents. One source of pride is that Luther King, Jr. gave a speech at Manchester College in 1968. It would be his last speech on a college campus. Robert F. Kennedy also visited Manchester College the same year while campaigning.   Like many local city buildings, the North Manchester post office has been in operation since the early 19th century.  The town is as lovely as it peaceful and quiet and the history and natural beauty that embody the region are unparalleled. Rain or shine, snow or sun – this part of the world has something to offer.

Looking for some exercise? Strauss Peabody Aquatic and Fitness Center features a fitness center fully equipped with all of the best treadmills, bikes, weight machines and the like.  There is also full-size competitive swimming pool and a warm water therapy pool. In addition, there is an indoor water slide for the kids and a  whirlpool, a steam room and sauna for adults to unwind and detoxify. The center’s pool can be enjoyed in any season as the facility is indoor.

But, if you want to get outside, the town has plenty to offer in that realm, as well. Warvel Park is a 10-acre facility which includes a playground, horseshoe pits, picnic areas, grills, a basketball half court and Scout Hall. They also maintain 2 open-air pavilions and a pergola.  Halderman Park is home to the town’s Veteran’s Memorial, the Thomas Marshall house and another gazebo.  Frantz Park is a smaller, 1.8-acre community park that contains a playground, basketball half-court, and a picnic area. There are many more parks and recreational facilities in the area that can be enjoyed in the warmer spring and summer months.
